Princess (Renate Stuurman) and Leo (Richard Lukunku) return for an exciting new chapter in the third instalment of the breakout Happiness film series. Happiness Is premieres exclusively on Netflix on 18 October 2024, bringing more drama, heart and unexpected twists to their story.
Princess’ bestie Tumi, portrayed by Gail Mabalane, is planning the ultimate 40th birthday bash — Princess’s ‘rebirth’. But after a shocking revelation, Princess is thrown into a whirlwind of self-discovery. As her perfectly crafted life unravels, she embarks on a journey to face her fears, untangle her emotions, and figure out what truly makes her happy.
Happiness Is features on-screen favourites Siv Ngesi, Rosemary Zimu, Anton David Jeftha, Phaphama Nqabeni, and O.C. Ujeke also join the cast. Following the success of Happiness Ever After, which remains available for streaming on Netflix, this latest instalment introduces new creative direction while continuing the narrative that has resonated with audiences.
