FAME Week Africa

TVMZANSI PRESENTS

FAME Week Africa 2026

FAME Week Africa is the go-to event for African creatives, providing a platform to bring the continent’s talent, stories and culture to the forefront. Bringing together film, television, animation, music, fashion and entertainment technology, FAME Week Africa connects Africa’s creative industries with professionals, audiences and opportunities from across the continent and the world.

Happening from 28 October to 1 November 2026 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC 2) in Cape Town, South Africa, FAME Week Africa brings together a programme of conferences, showcases, screenings, exhibitions and networking opportunities celebrating the convergence of Africa’s creative economies.

As an official partner of FAME Week Africa, TVMzansi brings you dedicated coverage from across the event, following the people, stories, announcements and ideas shaping Africa’s entertainment industries.

From MIP Africa and its focus on the film and television business, to Muziki Africa, African Fashion Forum and FAME Shorts Film Festival, the event brings together some of the continent’s most exciting creative sectors under one roof.

This hub is your destination for FAME Week Africa news, industry announcements, partnerships, interviews, profiles, creator stories, awards coverage, programme highlights, film and television developments, music, fashion and the conversations happening around the future of African entertainment.

We’ll also be following major initiatives including Africa’s Leading Women in Entertainment and the Inclusive Lens Awards, while bringing you closer to the creatives, executives, filmmakers, musicians, designers, innovators and industry leaders making their mark.

Whether you’re following FAME Week Africa from Cape Town, elsewhere in Africa or from around the world, this is where you can keep up with the stories that matter — from the biggest announcements to the talent and ideas worth knowing.

Browse the latest FAME Week Africa stories, discover the people behind Africa’s creative industries and follow TVMzansi’s coverage as the continent’s film, television, music, fashion and entertainment communities come together.
