First Look at Blood Legacy S2
Netflix has announced Blood Legacy Season 2, the acclaimed South African supernovela centering on the Ndlovu family’s high-stakes struggle over Spear Industries. Premiering globally on 25 September 2026, the all-new 20-episode installment makes history as the first Netflix Original in the region to offer a complete isiZulu dub, featuring voiceover work from legendary talent Dawn Thandeka King, Mike Ndlangamandla and Enhle Mbali Mlotshwa.
Two years after Khanyi (played by Xolile Tshabalala) was wrongfully implicated in her father’s death, Blood Legacy Season 2 finds her confronting a devastating new truth: her arrest was actually a covert abduction orchestrated by a corrupt politician. Khanyi is now trying to heal from the trauma while honouring her father’s final wishes, and her brothers become entangled in their own conflicts with Mandla (played by Buyile Mdladla) succumbing to political corruption fueled by Minister Titus (played by Ruben Naidoo), and Siya (portrayed by Mike Ndlangamandla) swept up in a forbidden romance.
Blood Legacy Season 2 takes the Ndlovu family into dangerous territory

As the dynasty faces a public collapse, a funeral is flooded by paparazzi while ominous threats target Khanyi and her daughter, Amahle (played by Dineo Rasedile). Meanwhile, MaNdlovu (played by veteran actress Thembi Nyandeni) steps up to replace Madlamini Ndlovu (played by the late Connie Chiume) in a desperate attempt to keep the empire intact while the enigmatic A6 syndicate (Dawn Thandeka King, Mduduzi Mabaso) lurks in the background. Matters reach a boiling point when Akin’s (Anthony Oyesemi) protective measures unravel following the leak of an explosive manuscript containing the family’s darkest secrets.
Blood Legacy Season 2 arrives as part of Netflix’s ongoing celebration of 10 Years of Storytelling in Africa.
