Married at First Sight Mzansi Season 3 on Mzansi Magic

Lerato Mvelase to host Married at First Sight Mzansi S3 reunion

By TV Mzansi
October 2, 2026

After 13 weeks of weddings, honeymoons, relationship highs and lows, and difficult decisions, Married at First Sight Mzansi Season 3 heads into its highly anticipated reunion this Sunday, 4 October at 18:00. The reunion will air as a two-part special exclusively on Mzansi Magic channel 161.

The marriages may have reached decision day, but the conversations are far from over. The talented Lerato Mvelase takes the hot seat as host of the Married at First Sight Mzansi Season 3 reunion, bringing the couples back together to confront unresolved issues, reflect on their journeys and reveal where they stand today.

After the final vows last week (episode 13, Sunday 27 September at 18:00), viewers watched the couples, Prince and Esuthu, Lesiba and Matshediso, Hlulani and Nompumelelo, and Obren and Laurinda decide whether to split or stay together.

What happened in Married at First Sight Mzansi finale?

Hlulani and Nompumelelo decided not to recommit, bringing their marriage to an end following a journey marked by challenges around trust, honesty and emotional connection.

Prince and Esethu chose to recommit to their marriage following a challenging journey. In an emotional moment, Prince reflected on their experience before getting down on one knee and proposing to Esethu again, a proposal she accepted. They were the only couple to leave the final recommitment ceremony choosing to continue their relationship.

For Lesiba and Matshediso, the evening brought an unexpected turn. While Lesiba was ready to recommit, Matshediso chose to walk away from the marriage, explaining that their connection had changed after they left the shared apartments and questioning whether their relationship could thrive beyond the experiment. Obren and Laurinda had already ended their marriage earlier in the season.

Now, months after filming ended, the couples of Married at First Sight Mzansi Season 3 will come face-to-face once more as they look back at the moments that defined their marriages, revisit unresolved tensions and reflect on life after the experiment.

With Lerato Mvelase leading the conversation, the reunion promises an opportunity for honest reflection and much-needed clarity as the couples unpack their experiences and answer some of the questions that have kept Mzansi talking. Joining in the conversation for the last time this season, are the experts Thabang Mashigo, Pastor Xolani Hlitana, Dr Mpume Zenda and Bakhe Dlamini.

The experiment may be over, but the story isn’t. Catch the two-part Married at First Sight Mzansi reunion on Sunday, 4 October and Sunday, 11 October at 18:00.

Then, from Friday, 30 October at 20:00, Married at First Sight Uncut pulls back the curtain with unseen footage, behind-the-scenes drama and untold moments from the couples’ journeys.
