Mzansi Magic’s celebrated reality show, Abandoned, returns for season 2

Abandoned is about people seeking out the parents who walked away from their children, hosted by actress and presenter Phumeza Mdabe.

The series attempts to reunite children with their long-lost or unknown parents. Mdabe returns for another season, bringing her emotional intelligence, kindness and non-judgmental hosting style, which makes those at their most vulnerable feel safe in her trusted hands.

Our viewers react strongly to reality shows featuring real stories of real people, whether they are seeking familial belonging or looking for love. The themes explored in these shows are relatable to many. It’s important that our content is relatable and authentic and what better way than to see a family re-united or people finding love.  We’re glad to keep our viewers engaged while treating our subjects with dignity and grace.
