Can you fall in love with someone you’ve never seen? The global dating phenomenon Love Is Blind is coming to South Africa, giving Mzansi its own chance to put love to the ultimate test. In the experiment, singles get to know potential partners through private pods, building emotional connections without seeing one another. Engagement comes before the first face-to-face meeting, after which couples must navigate living together, family opinions, wedding preparations and the question of whether their connection can survive beyond the pods.

Hosted by real-life couple Dineo Langa and Zothile “Solo Ntsizwa” Langa, the South African edition brings the internationally recognised format to local singles looking for a meaningful connection. Produced by afrOkaans for Netflix, the series will explore whether emotional compatibility can stand up to physical attraction, outside pressure and the realities of everyday relationships. The pods are coming to Mzansi and the conversations are about to get interesting.
