eGagasini: Waves of Change S1 follows three ambitious best friends from Umlazi whose lives change forever when their music trio, Truth or Dare, is catapulted into the spotlight after a viral music video.

As their dreams of stardom begin to take shape, the trio Lwandle, Njabulo and Sihle finds themselves caught in a devastating secret after a tragic yacht accident leaves a young woman dead. Bound by guilt and fear, they make a pact to keep the truth hidden, but their newfound fame, complicated relationships and rising ambitions make it increasingly difficult to keep their secret buried.

eGagasini: Waves of Change S1 stars Londeka Mkhwanazi as Lwandle, a talented church-raised singer forced to make difficult choices; Aphelele Shezi as Njabulo, a stylish producer and hustler determined to build his own music empire; and Nomfundo Radebe as Sihle, a bold and ambitious vocalist determined to achieve the life she dreams of no matter the cost. The cast also features Meshack Mavuso as Senzo Dube, legendary music producer and founder of Umlilo Records, Gugu Gumede as Phumelela Dube, his ambitious wife and business partner, and Nolwazi Tsebesha as Noxolo Dube, their confident and popular daughter. The stellar cast also includes Anele Nene as Democracy, Duduzile Ngcobo as Gogo Shozi, Ntando Mncube as Jacob, Mduduzi Nombela as Qedusizi and more.

Produced by Stained Glass TV, the production company behind the global hit The Polygamist, eGagasini: Waves of Change S1 premiered on Monday, 29 June 2026 as part of e.tv’s new Golden Hour. The series airs on e.tv at 19:30, bringing viewers a mix of music, romance, family drama, suspense and betrayal as its young stars discover that fame can come with a dangerous price.
