Leading the cast is veteran actor Meshack Mavuso Magabane as Senzo Dube, a legendary music producer and founder of Umlilo Records. Once a pioneer who helped shape Durban’s music landscape, Senzo is determined to restore his struggling empire to its former glory. A South African legendary and veteran actor best known for his starring television roles as Javas in iconic show Yizo Yizo and Vusi Moletsane in Isidingo. More recently, he featured in the Netflix smash-hit series The Polygamist, further cementing his status as one of South Africa’s most respected actors.

Nolwazi Tsebesha stars as Noxolo Dube, the adored only child of Phume and Senzo. Confident, intelligent and a popular matric head girl who excels effortlessly, Noxolo has always been raised as her father’s “princess”, carrying both privilege and pressure. Siphosethu Mabaso plays the character of Kenneth Khumalo who is Lwandle’s father and deeply devoted family man who dreams of rising through the church ranks to become a deacon. Mduduzi Nombela plays Qedusizi Mtshali, who is Njabulo and Hubo’s father. Qedusizi is the respected patriarch of the Mtshali family and a former criminal who turned his life around after becoming a father. Once involved in cash-in-transit heists with his former friend Senzo, Qedusizi left that life behind and used his share of the money to open a township boxing gym. eGagasini: Waves of Change is produced by Stained Glass TV, with Gugu Zuma-Ncube and Pepsi Pokane serving as producers. Speaking about the new drama, executive producer Pepsi Pokane said the series explores the consequences that come with chasing success.
