When The Four of Us premieres on Monday, 29 June 2026 at 8PM, viewers will be welcomed into a world of family legacy, emotional warfare, ambition and betrayal, all centred around the powerful Dhlomo family. Sindi Dlathu as Busani Dhlomo

In The Four of Us, she plays Busani Dhlomo, the fiercely principled eldest sibling who has spent her life carrying the burden of family responsibility. Busani is determined to protect her father’s legacy, even when her sacrifices come at great personal cost.

Dlathu is no stranger to commanding complex roles. She is a multiple SAFTA winner for Best Actress in a Telenovela for her iconic performance as Lindiwe, winning consecutively in 2020 and 2021. She also won Best Achievement in Original Song for The River’s memorable theme. Her career spans Muvhango, Sarafina!, Queendom and Unseen, and she even served as an executive producer on The River. Thembinkosi Mthembu as Banzi Dhlomo

Thembinkosi Mthembu takes on the role of Banzi Dhlomo, the overlooked middle sibling whose need for validation and belonging drives much of the family’s emotional conflict. A SAFTA Award winner for Best Actor in a TV Drama for Shaka iLembe (2024), Mthembu has built a reputation as one of South Africa’s most respected young actors. His previous work includes The River, Adulting, Outlaws, The Republic and Homecoming. Banzi represents the quiet emotional storm within the family, the sibling often seen but not always heard.

Kealeboga Masango as the youngest Dhlomo sibling

Kealeboga Masango plays the youngest Dhlomo sibling, a free spirit navigating freedom, pleasure and unresolved grief. She is widely known for her breakout fan-favourite role as Buhle in Youngins, and recently appeared in Genesis on Mzansi Magic. Sibongile Nojila as Masechaba “Gogozi” Dhlomo

Seipati Mahamu as Lethabo
