Thembinkosi Mthembu takes on the role of Banzi Dhlomo, the overlooked middle sibling whose need for validation and belonging drives much of the family’s emotional conflict. A SAFTA Award winner for Best Actor in a TV Drama for Shaka iLembe (2024), Mthembu has built a reputation as one of South Africa’s most respected young actors. Kealeboga Masango as the youngest Dhlomo sibling
Kealeboga Masango plays the youngest Dhlomo sibling, a free spirit navigating freedom, pleasure and unresolved grief. She is widely known for her breakout fan-favourite role as Buhle in Youngins, and recently appeared in Genesis on Mzansi Magic. Her character brings youth, unpredictability and emotional vulnerability into the Dhlomo household dynamic.
Sibongile Nojila as Masechaba “Gogozi” Dhlomo
Veteran actress Sibongile Nojila plays Masechaba “Gogozi” Dhlomo, the respected matriarch who protects family tradition and quietly shapes the Dhlomo legacy. She is known for Invictus, Lithapo, Netflix’s Justice Served and most recently Genesis. Her presence grounds the family in tradition, authority and emotional history.
Seipati Mahamu as Lethabo
Seipati Mahamu plays Lethabo, the devoted mother of Bobbi’s children, who longs for love, acceptance and belonging within the Dhlomo family. She is best known for her praised role as Nyakallo in Outlaws.
Lebohang Lephatsoana as Malusi

Nombulelo Letsosa as Luyanda

Rami Chuene as Vera
Rami Chuene plays Vera, a fiercely loyal woman shaped by hardship, whose need for security defines her choices. She is widely recognised for her iconic role as Gracious “TGOM” Mabuza in The Queen, and has appeared in Scandal!, Muvhango, How to Ruin Christmas, Isono and Giyani: Land of Blood.
Nthabiseng Kgosana as Bassie
