Produced by Tshedza Pictures, The Four of Us brings together an ensemble of established South African actors and rising talent, led by Sindi Dlathu as Busani Dhlomo, Sdumo Mtshali as Bobbi Dhlomo and Thembinkosi Mthembu as Banzi Dhlomo. The series premiered on e.tv on 29 June 2026 in the channel’s 8PM weeknight slot and is also available on Netflix, with new episodes arriving on the streaming platform after their e.tv broadcast.

Busani, the fiercely principled eldest sibling is determined to protect her father’s legacy, while Bobbi, charismatic and ambitious, believes he deserves to become the head of the family after years of feeling overshadowed. Banzi, meanwhile, struggles with feeling overlooked and his search for recognition and belonging adds another layer to the family conflict. Their youngest sibling, Balungile, played by Kealeboga Masango brings a very different energy to the Dhlomo household as she attempts to navigate freedom, grief and the expectations placed on her.

Around them are characters whose own relationships and ambitions become increasingly intertwined with the Dhlomo family. Masechaba “Gogozi” Dhlomo, played by Sibongile Nojila, represents the family’s traditions and history, while Seipati Mahamu’s Lethabo fights for love, acceptance and her place within the family. Hope Mbhele plays Ndumi Nhlapo, who carries responsibilities of her own, and her relationship with Bobbi has become one of the series’ most closely watched storylines. The wider ensemble includes Dumisani Dlamini, Rami Chuene, Scelo Buthelezi, Pascaline Phale, Nthabiseng Kgosana, Quinton Madlala and Tebogo Malapane.

But The Four of Us is ultimately about more than who gets control of a successful business. Beneath the wealth and luxury cars is a family struggling with grief, resentment, love, loyalty and the consequences of choices made long before the current power struggle began. As secrets emerge and relationships fracture, the Dhlomo legacy becomes increasingly difficult to protect.

The result is a character-driven South African drama built around family, power, ambition, romance and betrayal, with the Dhlomo family at the centre of a battle that threatens to change all of their lives.
