Spinners S2: Coming to Mzansi Magic in October

When London-based public relations consultant Emma le Roux (played by Abbie Cornish) receives a desperate call from her brother who disappeared decades earlier, she returns to South Africa. The pilot episode of Invisible will screen at the Silwerskerm Festival on Wednesday 19 August and will premiere on M-Net (DStv Channel 101) from 14 October.

Critical But Stable: Premieres on Mzansi Magic this July
A 13-episode drama series that follows the life of a struggling businessman, Duke (played by Fortune Thobejane), who ropes his friends into an insurance scam to save both his ailing wife and his failing business. Duke and his childhood friends are members of a jazz-themed stokvel called Khula. It’s a social club and a way to promote brotherhood and support one another in protecting their marriages and families.
The ensemble cast is led by Fortune Thobejane (Duke), Lawrence Maleka (Mzi), Batsile Ramasodi (Solomzi), Thabo Malema (Thabo), Mmarona Motshegoa (Noma), Motsoaledi Setumo (Lerato), Seipati Mahamu (Moshidi), Mapaseka Koetle (Lovey) and Eve Rasimeni (Mantwa). The drama series is based on novelist Angela Makholwa‘s bestselling novel of the same name. The series is set to captivate audiences when it premieres on Sundays from 26 July 2026 on DStv Channel 161 at 20:00.

Nyala O: Coming to Mzansi Magic this July
At the center of the story are three women whose lives become intertwined as their marriages face unexpected challenges. As she grapples with betrayal and the painful discovery that some of those closest to her knew the truth all along, her sister Mapula (portrayed by Tsholofelo Matshaba) faces her own emotional crossroads as she prepares for an empty nest and rediscovers herself and her marriage to Ernest (portrayed by Aubrey Mmakola), while lifelong friend Lerato (portrayed by Cindy Mahlangu) confronts pride, resentment and the changing dynamics of her marriage to Mondli (played by Unathi Mkhize).
